Ibrahim Ali Hussein is a distinguished economist specializing in economic development and natural resource management. With over 17 years of extensive experience in humanitarian aid and international development, Ibrahim has significantly contributed to various countries, including those in fragile or crises.He worked extensively in the East Africa Region, undertaking various missions at different times. Serving as the Chief of Mission for multiple organizations.
Ibrahim served as a senior advisor to the Prime Minister on the national stabilisation program. His expertise in institutional capacity development was recognised as he became a senior adviser for seven years, focusing on the institutional development of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the Federal Government of Somalia.
Ibrahim was later appointed as the Chairman and CEO of the Somali Petroleum Authority, where he continued to contribute to developing and managing the country's natural resources. His remarkable efforts and leadership were pivotal in driving Somalia towards a future of economic stability and growth.
