Jamal Mursal is an accomplished professional with over seventeen years of diverse experience in senior management roles across government, international organizations, and private businesses. With a strong academic background in management, business enterprise, aviation management, and airport operations, he has consistently excelled in his career.

Previously, he was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, where he played a key role in the review of the Petroleum Law, Production Sharing Agreements (PSA), and other regulations.

Jamal is also the Managing Director of Bright Star Training and Development, a company specializing in skills training, development, and lifelong learning. Additionally, he served as a Relief Coordinator/Project Manager for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Somalia, where he successfully implemented relief programs in famine-stricken areas and initiated efforts to facilitate the return of internally displaced people.
